It was part of the inspiration for my novel The Last Bear (Two Ravens Press), which won the Robin Jenkins Literary Award last year. The book’s chapters all have tree names and follow the ogham alphabet, and I wove tree lore in among the story. The tree alphabet is such a rich part of our cultural heritage and the Borgie spiral such a glorious embodiment of it. Congratulations and thanks to all who look after it.
