Sylvia I love this painting. I hope you are well. I’m still in Oxford working on Port Meadow paintings so the open space of this feels familiar though I have not been to Orkney yet.

The last 4 lines are OK; the rest a bland paraphrasing of text presented in the show. Check your sources: I never said “The paintings are landscape studies…” The ignored quote from Crozier would make that clear. They are anything but STUDIES. ‘Deer Sound’ has been fundamentally misunderstood.
