Luckily this coincided with Chouf Ouchouf performing at the fantastic Eden Court. The whole group was astonished by the skill, wit, dazzling choreography and subtle politics of the show. This is a must see and provided a fitting ending to an inspiring day in Inverness.

I loved the way it hinted at the political and the sinister without hammering home a message–were they scrambling on top of the set to see a football match, or get away from riot police? And the resonance of illegal immigration when they were all jammed into the one block of the set. Utterly charming performers and a hauntingly poetic show.
