Thanks George - good to begin the working day with colour and remembered friendships - David gave a small painting to both Sam Maynard and myself when we took part in the Wick Festival of Poetry Folk Jazz and Blues circa 1982 or 3. It's given me a lot of pleasure over the years so great to know David making new work and I hope to see it in Edinburgh soon. I met the woman who became mother of our two fine lads at the Wick Festival as it happened. Fine writing too - much appreciated.
