Only one costume was hired! Utopia Costumes was acknowledged for that reason. All other costumes were either sourced from our own wardrobe (a few borrowed from 'The Florians'), made from scratch or provided and/or altered/embellished by company members!

What's being said here, is summed up at the end of the eighth paragraph - "....a very professionally presented performance". Was it presented to make "the dozen or so supporting roles available for the stalwarts of Inverness Opera"? Was it because "there was a substantial amount of chorus involvement for all the other members"? I would imagine that was considered at some point, yes. I would also suggest that it was chosen because it's a well known and tragic story of a man who completely loses himself and destroys any hope of personal happiness, while in pursuit of a better life for others. A tragedy worthy of any company's attention! We may not be the National Theatre or the RSC, but there is certainly heart and dedication in all the shows the IOC present and I for one, am proud to have been invited to play a small part in this one. Well done all and thank you James Munro for this splendidly candid review and the assorted gems of appreciation!
