Well, as you can see, I’ve updated my avatar with a Green Violet-eared hummingbird I created using conte crayons and Faber Castell pastel pencils. I was exploring iridescence for this subject. It is also a bit of a visual pun since the piece is half imperial size and the bird, by comparison, tiny. I’ve requested my own blog to show how I go about stuff like this.
