Fibre Artist Joanne Kaar has an exhibition this June-July 2011 called Baker & Botanist at Morven Gallery, Barvas,  Isle of Lewis. The exhibition runs from 1st June 2011 – 30th June 2011.
 
All of Joanne’s papers are made by hand using waste linen threads from the Scalpay weaving shed in the Western Isles. A selection of Joanne’s paperworks are available from the Morven gallery throughout the 2011 season.

Joanne is also exhibiting her work at Tullibody Heritage Group, Civic Centre, Abercromby Place in Tullibody from 25th Mar 2011 – 31st Oct 2011.  
 
Tullibody is the birth place of Robert Dick .  Joanne B Kaar was invited to exhibit her paperwork in their heritage centre as part of the celebrations to mark 200yrs since the birth of Robert Dick – baker and botanist of Thurso 1811-1866.
