What is it? The National Voluntary Arts Survey has been produced by Voluntary Arts Scotland in partnership with Aberdeenshire Council’s Arts Team. Its aim is to find out the size, range and functions of the voluntary arts and crafts sector in Scotland.

Why? We know how important the work you to is and we want to make sure that the decision makers do to! The information we collect will be used to make plans for the future on how best to serve your interests. We’ll also use it to lobby decision makers such as Creative Scotland, the Scottish Government and Local Authorities about the need for funding and resources in the arts.

What you need to do? There are two parts to the survey;

§ Part A is a quick, ‘light’ version which you should be able to answer in 15 minutes.

§ Part B is more detailed and will take longer but this information is very important to us so in recognition of your effort we are offering a FREE gift to everyone who completes it. We’ll also enter you into a prize draw to WIN £300 cash for your group, with three £50 runner-up prizes!

How do I access it? You can download the questionnaire to have a look at and fill in online at www.vascotland.org.uk/15542 or if you would prefer a hardcopy, please email research@vascotland.org.uk  with a contact name and address and we will get one sent out to you. Please note that the deadline for all entries is 30 September 2011.
