Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham – Concert Sold Out

These two legends of traditional music have been playing together for 24 years; filling not only small village halls, but most major performance venues. Phil Cunningham is widely regarded as one of the most exciting and innovative accordion players of the times; Aly Bain is Scotland’s supreme traditional-style fiddler. Together they create sublime, inspired music. In 2005 they were awarded Best Duo in the annual BBC Folk Awards. They were due to visit Findhorn last December but, due to some of the worst early December weather in recent years, got snowed in and the concert was cancelled – much to their regret. This show is fulfilling the promise that they would yet play at the Universal Hall as a duo. (Aly played the Universal Hall back in the 90’s with his own band).

Fri 23rd Sept, 8.00. Please note that due to incredible demand for tickets this event is now sold out.
