Placement – Ceramic Connections: Wales & Scotland
Day symposium on Saturday 5 November 2011, 10.30am-4pm, St Andrews, Free event

Enjoy a day of talks and discussion inspired by contemporary ceramic objects in the exhibition. The event begins at St Andrews Museum to give participants the chance to view the exhibition, then continues at St Andrews University’s Gateway Building where co-curators – and participating artists – Lowri Davies and Dawn Youll discuss how the exhibition content was chosen. Two other participating artists, Ken Eastman and Conor Wilson, will also talk about their work during the afternoon and the day will end with a panel discussion looking at some of the themes explored in the exhibition, chaired by Natasha Mayo of the National Centre for Ceramic Studies, Cardiff. Lunch and refreshments will be provided free of charge.
