Let International Jewellery Designer Melanie Muir show you how to create a ‘simple’ cuff bangle at her workshop at Moray Art Centre on Sunday 1 April 2012 (10am – 4pm).

Melanie Muir’s jewellery is a regular feature at Moray Art Centre and now you can have the opportunity of creating one of the fabulous cuff bangles. Melanie will guide you through all the techniques in making the polymer clay bangle, creating one that is totally unique.

Melanie says ‘I was introduced to polymer clay a few years ago, and was instantly taken with its qualities as a medium. It is essentially a simple material to use, yet the range of techniques possible with it are extraordinary.’

About the Tutor:

Melanie has a Honours Degree in Design from Glasgow School of Art, and spent many years working in retail in London and in PR and Marketing (in Australia). After a period of being a professional china restorer she returned to a more directly creative path with the launch of her jewellery range.
