Easter Dance Project for Young People at Merkinch Community Centre

This Easter join b-boy Tony Mills for three days of pure dance!

This free event is yaking place on Tuesday 4th, Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th April 2012 from 10am – 4pm at  Merkinch Community Centre in Inverness.

Easter Dance Project for young people ages S1 – S6, where they will learn breakin’ and hip hop steps, create a piece of choreography and have the opportunity to perform at the Breakin’ Convention 2012 at Eden Court Theatre on Tuesday 22nd May 2012 with one of the countrys top street dancers.

Join Tony Mills, a self taught b-boy, professional performer and choreographer for three days, throw some shapes, listen to great music and have fun. Tony has performed all over the world including at the MOBO Awards with David Guetta and Kelly Rowland! He’s based in Edinburgh so this is an amazing opportunity to learn from his experience.

It is free to attend. All you need to do is come along with plenty of enthusiasm, energy and commit to the full three day project, 10 am – 4pm each day. You’ll need to wear loose clothing and trackies or long joggers (no skirts or shorts!) and trainners (no bare feet). Bring a packed lunch and plently to drink! Water will be provided all day.
