Musick Fyne bring Victoria Requiem to Dornoch and Pluscarden

Musick Fyne (dir. James Ross) present Tomas Luis de Victoria – Requiem

The voices of Musick Fyne perform the exquisite six-part choral masterpiece of 1605 by the great Spanish Renaissance composer,

with readings from the Spanish mystic St Theresa of Avila

The voices of Musick Fyne directed by James Ross are joined by bassoonist Judith Bullivant and reader Maureen Pringle for a performance of the stunning six-part Requiem by the Renaissance Spanish master Tomas Luis de Victoria.

Maureen Pringle reads poetry by Victoria’s compatriot and contemporary, the mystic St Theresa of Avila, accompanied by Spanish harp music performed by Bill Taylor.
