It’s always a special event when A. J. and Nuala Kennedy, who normally tour separately, have the opportunity to share the stage. Inventive and eclectic, Irish folk singer, composer and musician Nuala Kennedy, is a brand name in her adopted homeland of Scotland. A. J. is known for his attention to detail in his poetic lyrics, and for his powerful and distinctive singing voice. Together, the strengths of each meld to create a performace that is at once mesmerising and exhilarating.

The Stu Brown Sextet was formed in 2008 to celebrate 100 years since the birth of the little known band leader, composer and inventor, Raymond Scott, whose wacky, hyper-animated, eyeball-popping “cartoon jazz” is most widely recognisable for its use in the Looney Tunes cartoons from the 1940s onwards.
