Take Off

I am off (finger’s crossed) to Shetland first thing tomorrow morning. Despite the panic casued by the Volcano it would appear all flights in and out of Inverness are still running as normal!

This will be my first visit to Shetland and I am spending a grand total of 5 days there. I’ll be spending time in Lerwick traveling through Yell to Unst and then back down again.

Its apparently a beautiful part of the world so I can’t wait to get up there and explore. Of course I’ll be there to deliver 2 workshops this time, one this Saturday and one the following Tuesday. I’m looking forward to expanding this new community of arty types and bringing them onboard to the way of the web.

As in Orkney, I’ll be keeping social whenever I have internet access. Let me know if you have any places to recommend to go, eat, visit in Shetland or any experiences you’ve had there. Comment here or post onto the HIArts Audience Development facebook page.

Now I’m off to sort out luggage and make sure I know where I am going when I get to Sumburgh Airport tomorrow morning.
