The Traditional Music Forum, Scotland’s network of traditional music organisations, hosts Trad Talk, its first conference to discuss and debate key issues for the traditional music community on 26 March 2011 in Dundee. Speakers include Gary West (School of Scottish Studies), Jennie MacFie (PAN), Jo Miller (Riverside Music Group), Stan Reeves (Adult Learning Project), Kenny Beaton (Tobar an Dualchais/ Kist o Riches), Prof. Alistair McLeery (Napier University), Sandy Watson (ISLE Music), Barclay Price (Arts and Business), John Morran (TMSA) introducing topics on festivals, touring and venues, community music, cultural memory, social entrepreneurship and fundraising.
