WOODEN IT BE NICE..to do it again
24 Mar 2011 in Highland, Visual Arts & Crafts
After a successful weekend last November, Cromarty Arts Trust is going to be organising another Crafts Weekend Fair at the Stables in Cromarty on Saturday May 28th (10am-5pm) and Sunday May 29th 2011 (10am-4pm).
This is anopportunity for makers and craftspeople to showcase and sell their work. All crafts are welcome: wood, textiles, pottery and ceramics, jewellery, prints and cards. Some of the Highlands most skilled craftspeople and makers are already booked to take part this year. A stall will cost £60 for the weekend payable in advance to Cromarty Arts Trust.
Makers are welcome to bring their own display systems, but Cromarty Arts Trust recognise this is not always practicable. For this reason tables, chairs and plinths are available free of charge. Access to power for lighting is also free. Cromarty Arts Trust will be holding a morning launch on Saturday from 10am with refreshments and a little bit of music too.
Craftspeople and makers are advised to book a space early because the Stables, although beautiful are not huge!
