Young Writers 2011 – applications now open!

Calling all writers! Are you aged 15 – 25? Interested in developing your stage and screen-writing skills with experienced professionals? Young Writers is a hands-on course of advice, mentoring and practical workshops running throughout Scotland in 2011. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in taking their writing and ideas to the next level. Previous participants include celebrated contemporary writers Douglas Maxwell, Isabel Wright, David Harrower and Paul Riley.
Receive tuition and feedback from professionals who will offer guidance developing scripts for stage, TV, film or radio.
Led by BAFTA award-winning writer David Cosgrove.
Work with actors and directors to bring your ideas to life.
Course is open to applicants all over Scotland and is FREE.

Submissions should be a short synopsis, scene, monologue or idea.
No full scripts please.
