GETTING OUT THERE IN YOUR LOCAL AREA

Who are the people in your local community who can help get your music out there? Who books new bands at local venues and how can you get a slot? Are there any locally based media platforms dedicated to showcasing fresh talent, and how can artists based in more remote locations make connections in the wider context? This panel brings together a broad selection of regional industry to highlight the support available in your area.

ATOM LIVE PRESENTS ‘BE CREATIVE’

It’s not good enough now to just be creative, You need the skills to network, the network to get you out there and a business plan of action to support it all!

Having completed 2 Warped tours across the USA followed by shows at SXSW in Austin Texas, ‘Middle Finger Salute’  are currently completing their self managed International tour with festival dates included. They are an indie/punk/rock band, management company, are quite ‘savvy’ when it comes to doing deals and selling merchandise, and have just been offered a UK deal with Cargo Records. Come and meet the team for a panel which looks at a young band’s DIY journey. The band will be joined by Managers & Event organisers Phil Ellis & Adrian Cooke who will give an overview on applying to play festivals and managing artists on an international stage.
