On 15th July 2011, IG:LU, a new arts space in Inverness will play host to an intimate He Slept On 57 set along with a chance to see a display of their unique hand-drawn EP artwork.

He Slept On 57 have been playing together for three years, and already have two E.P.s tucked safely under their belt. First release ‘Turn Your Back On All We Know’ is a playful adventure and early exploration of taste and songwriting. An explosive piece of work it drew on a sound that inspired comparisons to Twin Atlantic or Biffy Clyro.

‘A Glow From the Night Light’ is the second EP from He Slept On 57, and is a mature development from the first, not just in terms of personality and sound but reflecting the way they’re handling their increased popularity.

The evening will start at 10pm, with an acoustic set from Ewan Mcconologue.

He Slept on 57 will then play from 10.40pm – 11.30pm, allowing people to get into a bar before the Inverness Curfew.
