Fèis Rois hits Cromarty on its annual Ceilidh Trail

Fèis Rois is preparing once again for its highly popular Summer Ceilidh Trail but this year there is a difference! Now in its twelfth year Fèis Rois has planned another fantastic fun for all the family Ceilidh! The project was originally designed to develop young Fèis musicians’ performance skills whilst creating a vibrant traditional music programme for varied audiences- locals and visitors alike around Scotland.

Former Ceilidh Trail musician and this year’s co-ordinator, Kirsty-Anne Macfarlane said “The Ceilidh Trail is such an amazing opportunity for young people to experience what it is like to be a professional touring musician. Not only do they have a chance to work with those professional musicians who inspire them, the participants gain more confidence both in their playing and in their presentation on stage.” said Kirsty-Anne.

The Ceilidh Trail will tour Ross-shire and arrive at the Stables in Cromarty on Friday July 29th starting at 7.30 and a night of song, dance and loads of fun is guaranteed.

Tickets, priced £10, £8 and £3 (children) for the event in Cromarty can be reserved from the Cromarty Arts Trust
