ATLAS presents Fish Exchange with the artist Deirdre Nelson in aid of the Portree RNLI
2 Aug 2011 in Highland, Visual Arts & Crafts
Do you enjoy knitting or sewing? ATLAS needs your help to make Silver Darlings!
What is this project about?
ATLAS are inviting you to knit or make a Silver Darling for a shoal of fish to welcome the Celeste into Portree Harbour on the 10th September as part of the Bàta Brèagha / Bonnie Boat event for the Year of Scotland’s Islands. Silver Darlings will then be sold or auctioned in aid of the local RNLI. Each fish will be on exhibition but it is entirely up to the maker whether to put their fish up for auction.
