Do you love to draw? Are you interested in learning about different drawing materials and how to use them in a variety of interesting locations?
Then this short course is for you! It will help you to develop a range of drawing skills using a variety of different media including charcoal, pastels, pencil, and ink. Some drawing activities will take place outdoors. It is aimed at those who wish to develop their skills, as well as those new to drawing.
The cost of the course is £80, however, you may be eligible for an ILA (Individual Learning Account), http://www.ilascotland.org.uk/ which can cover this cost. Please apply as soon as possible to ensure your ILA is through in time to start the course.
The fee includes most learning materials and equipment, all notes and studio time, and certification on successful completion of the course. There is also a separate fee of £15 to cover the cost of specialist materials, payable to Portree Learning Centre, prior to starting the course. Students are also asked to supply basic art materials for their own use: drawing pencils (2B & 4B), a soft rubber, an A4 or A3 sketchbook, and digital camera (optional). Suitable clothing is required for outdoor activities.
