Come and join An Talla Solais for an Open Day on  Saturday 27th August, 2011 from 2-5pm.  Enjoy Open Studios, Painting like James Lumsden (all age art activity), Cargo Canoe (part of its 2011 Summer Tour), Lewis chessmen Q&A, Delicious coffee, cakes and tea at the one-day-only Cafe, Smoke-firing last night’s Tiny Pots, last weekend of the current exhibition: James Lumsden / Paintings (last day 29th August, open 2-5 daily) plus a chance to talk to An Talla Solais about future events and possible activities

Could you bake a cake for the occasion? Any baking contributions will be warmly welcomed / scoffed, with pleasure.

There will also be an Artist’s Talk with James Lumsden the following day on Sunday 28th August from 6pm.

James Lumsden will give a guided tour of our current exhibition (pictured above) and be there to answer your questions about his work. £2 per person; booking not essential but an idea of numbers would be helpful so feel free to tell us you’ll be coming.
