A reminder that Brae Editions will launch Ecstatics: a language of birds at the Pier Arts Centre, Stromness, this evening, Thursday, September 1st, at 5.45 for 6pm. A further launch will take place tomorrow evening in Shetland, at the Islesburgh Centre, Lerwick, 8pm.

Gemma McGregor will provide specially composed incidental music for the Stromness launch, and an exhibition of Laura Drever’s drawings will take place in Lerwick over Shetlandarts Wordplay weekend.
Ecstatics: a language of birds is available price £9.99 from bookshops in Orkney (inc Westray) and Shetland, and elsewhere including Timespan in Helmsdale, the Fruitmarket Gallery in Edinburgh, The Ceilidh Place, Ullapool, and Taigh Chearsabhagh and An Lanntair in North Uist and Lewis.
