Re-Living ALIVE:xperience is a theatrical fashion show featuring the designs of Harriet, Matilda and Jemima Kirkwood which is to take place on Saturday 24th September 2011 at 7pm at Grantown Grammar School.

Young Scottish designers, Harriet, Matilda and Jemima Kirkwood, all former pupils of Grantown Grammar School and residents of Grantown-on-Spey, are staging a theatrical fashion show in order to raise start up funds for their business template: K’outure.

Do not be fooled, it may have the same format of a traditional fashion show, but the content is far more fantastical and features the extensive collection of costumes that have been designed, made, and in some cases, built, over the sister’s combined 11 years of schooling in the Performance Costume department at the Edinburgh College of Art.

K’outure is a Scottish fledgling fashion label, set up by the sisters, that will specialise in designing and making bespoke items of occasion wear for both day and evening events for the vibrant, enthusiastic and flamboyant within the Scottish Society.

K’outure will showcase its first collection at the Scottish Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust Auction in May 2012. The proceeds from this show will be used to create a unique collection of garments, for both men and women, aptly captioned ‘Game Birds’

Their theatrical background will bring a flair and frivolity to each design and the creations that will continue to inspire their future work will be on display throughout the show.

Tickets are on sale now: £10 – £15 (Adults). If you are interested in attending, please email: 1plus1events@gmail.com
