Change to Johnny Cash tribute date in Strathpeffer
22 Sep 2011 in Highland, Music
Roger Dean and the Lazyboys have decided that they will perform their popular Johnny Cash tribute only once at the Pavilion, on Thursday 13th October. Advance ticket sales to date are quite good but the band feel they are not good enough for two concerts. Pavilion staff have advised them that people nowadays are leaving it very late to buy tickets (which is nerve-racking for all venues) and have pointed out that the event is not until mid-October, which may still feel like a long way off to some people – but that’s the band’s final decision. And they did in fact post on Facebook last week that people should buy tickets in advance or gigs might be cancelled.
Tickets for the concert that was due to take place at the Pavilion on Wednesday 12th October will now be valid for Thursday 13th and purchasers will be refunded if the alternative date does not suit them. Pavilion staff are doing their best to get in touch with all those who bought tickets for the Wednesday night – any customer who has not heard from Pavilion staff or other ticket sellers should please ring the Pavilion on 01997 420124
