Bonhoga Gallery are holding a public opening of Blow Up by Simon Biggs and Sue Hawksley, on Friday 30th September 2011 at the Bonhoga Gallery from 5pm to 7pm.

The exhibition will run from Saturday 1st October to Sunday 13th November 2011.

Blow up is an interactive installation that uses performers, or the audience, to bring itself alive, The real-time video projection manipulates movement and redistributes it on a large screen, distorting the size of body parts in accordance with how fast they are moving. It provides an engaging and amusing way to interact with contemporary art. The exhibition will incorporate a performance, workshops and public exploration.

Showing in the lower gallery will be new work by Peter Davis and on display will be a Shetland Made Exhibition, a selection of craft makers from throughout Shetland.
