James Hawkins to exhibit at Art London

Art London is delighted to announce the details of its 2011 fair at Royal Hospital, Chelsea. From 6-10th October, galleries from across the globe will come together for Art London’s annual event to present carefully curated exhibitions of both blue-chip historical and contemporary art works. As well as London-based and UK galleries, an exciting international focus will be brought by galleries showing artists from Europe, Australia and the United States.

Amongst the British highlights at this year’s Art London, Rhue Art (specialists in some of the finest artists from the Highlands and Islands of Scotland) will exhibit work by the acclaimed artist, James Hawkins. Hawkins aims to capture the kinetic energy that resonates through the Scottish landscape; from the sky, to hills and Lochs, constantly reworking his painterly process to move with his ever changing environment. Hawkins’ works are incredibly evocative and previously described by The Scotsman as “… one of the best contemporary landscape painters in Scotland.” Art London is delighted to have a number of works by James Hawkins at this year’s fair.
