Blazin’ in Beauly (17 to 21 October 2011)  is the musical extravaganza started by the band Blazin’ Fiddles in the historic village of Beauly, 15 miles west of Inverness. With the aim of being much more than a fiddle school the intention of the week is to immerse people in the fiddle music of the Highlands & Islands.

Now in its 11th year Blazin’ in Beauly has developed with internationally renowned fiddlers and musicians joining in the festivities. So come and join the Blazin’ Fiddles in a week of classes, sessions, concerts and craic in the heart of the Scottish Highlands….

This year the core classes are:

Fiddle: Allan Henderson, Bruce MacGregor, Iain MacFarlane and Jenna Reid

Keyboard: Andy Thorburn

Guitar: Anna Massie

Cello: Christine Hanson

Guest Fiddle Tutors: Fidil (Irish Fiddle Trio)

With additional afternoon classes/workshops

Percussion, Tune Arranging, Gaelic Singing and more!
