*NEW GIG* More young talent will be at Bogbain this Thursday evening with Feis Rois and their friends from North Friesland.  Tickets are £5 and proceeds go straight to the wonderful work of the Feis. 8pm start.

Fred Morrison

Although Fred was born and raised near Glasgow, it’s the celebrated Gaelic piping tradition of his father’s native South Uist, in the outer Hebrides, that forms the bedrock of his intensely expressive, uniquely adventurous style.  Do not miss this unique opportunity to hear him in Inverness. Tickets are almost sold out already, so reply to this email if you want to reserve yours now!

Saturday 12th November, 8pm.  £12/10

Cahalen Morrison & Eli West

With a handful of acoustic instruments and the clear harmonies of bluegrass song traditions, Cahalen and Eli have created an entirely new strain of roots music.  Old

-time, lonesome, bluegrass harmonies that are guaranteed to blow you away – and there’s even a Stornoway connection!  (BBC ALBA are making a documentary about their trip to Lewis to trace Cahalen’s family…with a name like Morrison, Yvonne reckons he must be a Niseach!)

Friday 25th November, 8pm. £10/8
