Status Quo to rock Inverness

Rock legends Status Quo have announced they will perform a major outdoor concert in the Scottish Highlands next summer, as part of the summer in the City Music weekend.
The band, which holds the record for more hit singles than any other band, has had more hit albums than The Beatles, and made more appearances on TOTP than any other act, will make the journey north to play to thousands of fans at Northern Meeting Park on Friday 24th August.
The five-piece which has sold over 188 million records and had 22 top ten hits including Christmas favourite ‘It’s Christmas Time’ will perform rock classics including ‘Rockin all over the World’ as well as performances from its latest – and twenty ninth – studio album ‘Quid Pro Quo’.
