Nominated for “Best Live Act” BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2012, Peatbog Faeries have been described as ‘The Future of Celtic Dance Music’. They incorporate many influences which take them from traditional jigs and reels through jazz, hip hop, reggae and more. This inventive and unique approach brings a true flavour of traditional Scottish music whilst offering high octane Celtic dance music – so be prepared to dance! With their new 6 piece line up, the Peatbog Faeries, go back to the their roots using all the dynamics of the larger band, but producing a new, vibrant and exciting sound. Headliners at this year’s Hogmanay in Edinburgh this is their first visit to the Universal Hall.
