The inaugural Inverness Whisky Tour on the evening of Friday 6th April where you will be guided around 6 infamous Invernsecky venues to try 6 infamous Scottish malt whiskies, along with a multitude of infamous Scottish musicians, before finishing up in Hootananny for a great night of live music and entertainment.

Bruce MacGregor will be your tour guide for the evening, which starts in the Castle Tavern, and you will then visit the weird and wonderful sights of Inverness like you’ve never seen them before.  Was there really a cheese riot? Who was Granville?! Why was there an explosion on Baron Taylor’s Street?

There will be a different malt whisky waiting for you in each venue, along with someone from the distillery to tell you all about it, and we will also pick up a different musician along the way before there is a babble of them ready to descend on the stage in Hootananny.

INVERNESS WHISKY FESTIVAL – SATURDAY 7TH APRIL @ 12PM

The piece de resistance then takes place at Bogbain Farm where you will get the opportunity to taste whiskies from over 20 distilleries; take part in masterclasses (Isle of Jura and Benromach masterclasses are now confirmed); eat some gorgeous food; drink whisky cocktails; hear live music and generally have a great time.
