The submission window to showcase at goNORTH will close on Sunday 1 April 2012.  The live programme will take over Inverness city centre across  Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 June, with over 70 acts showcasing to a broad range of industry and media representatives. 

A significant volume of artists invited to showcase will also secure additional live opportunities across the goNORTH Festival Tour. For 2012, we will be programming new music across the following festivals: Wickerman Festival, Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, Loopallu, B-Fest and Summer in the City 2012. 

“This year’s submission process has again attracted a fantastic response”, said goNORTH Director for Music Shaun Arnold. “goNORTH is an excellent platform to expose artists to industry and media and a great environment to make connections. We are looking forward to a strong closing week and announcing our showcasing schedule early next month”. 

Twelve acts selected to showcase will also feature on the goNORTH 2012 CD. Released direct to industry on the cover of leading publication Music Week, all selected artists will also secure exposure in the issue as well as across Music Week’s online platforms.
