By the Seat of Your Pants at Universal Hall

11 May 2012 in Dance & Drama, Moray

Edinburgh based Plutôt la Vie was founded in 2003 by Tim Licata and Ian Cameron with a desire to create imaginative, visually driven performances. They were last at the Universal Hall with their brilliant show A Clean Sweep – household chores will never seem the same again!

Their new production By the Seat of Your Pants is a hilarious, slapstick venture into the world of three men and a chair! Nothing to be done and nothing to do. Fritz, Franz and Rudy sit and wait. Expectation! Hope! Boredom! Delight! Not to take things sitting down, they put their best feet forward to make the grade and avoid a kick in the pants. A fast, visual, funny show in a clown style for children aged 7+ and their families. Lasts 60 mins

“…sequence after sequence of inspired comedy… a torrent of creativity, and a profound playfulness… the kids are literally skipping with pleasure, as they run out of the theatre, yelling “Dad! We’ve had a great time!”  Joyce McMillan, The Scotsman ****
