With the generous support of Creative Scotland the band retreated to the UK’s most northerly inhabited island, Unst, where they composed a suite of new music inspired by the extreme isolation and rare beauty they experienced.

The rehearsals and writing were streamed live from Unst and the final performance was recorded and streamed live from the first ever Shetland Jazz Festival. A documentary was made of the entire process, which will be released later in the year along with the CD/DVD which will be titled “NeWt  –  North”
