Para Handy and the Highland Voyage

A wonderful re-enactment of Highland Voyage, a legendary recording based around the TV series – Para Handy and The Vital Spark.

Highland Voyage is a musical journey aboard a puffer with characters loosely based on those in Neil Munro’s hugely popular Para Handy stories, which followed the crew of the Vital Spark, a puffer delivering goods throughout the west coast of Scotland.

Performed by Iain MacLeod – mandolin & vocals, Russell Hunter – piano & vocals, and Allan MacDonald – pipes, accordion & vocals.

Saturday 28 July 2012. Tickets cost £10 (£5 for under 18s) and are available at the door only.
