Kino and Fujimoto at Universal Hall
MASAYUKI KINO & FUMIKO FUJIMOTO
We are very fortunate to have two exceptional classical soloists teaming up to present a wonderful concert of music. Masayuki Kino (violin) is the leading soloist in the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra. Fumiko Fujimoto (piano), graduate of Kunitachi Music College, has played with members of the Japan Philharmonic and the Kyushu Symphony. Masayuki is classed as one of the finest classical Japanese violin players of our age and, at his performance at the Universal Hall last year, he amazed the audience with the lightness and dexterity of his playing, so we are delighted to see him back and to welcome for the first time the very talented Fumiko Fujimoto. The programme of music will include pieces by Paganini and Sarasate amongst others.
