15 Nov 8 pm Stu Brown Sextet. The Stu Brown Sextet was formed in 2008, to celebrate 100 years since the birth of the little known band leader, composer and inventor Raymond Scott, whose wacky, hyper-animated, eyeball-popping ‘cartoon jazz’ is most widely recognisable for its use in the Looney Tunes cartoons from the 1940s onwards and, more recently, in Ren and Stimpy and The Simpsons. Tickets £10 online from WeGotTickets.com and TicketWeb.co.uk, including TicketWeb 24-hr hotline 08444 771000, June’s Card Shop Dingwall and the Pavilion 01997 420124.
