Christmas Crafternoon, Paper Cutting & Snow Globe workshops at IMAG

In partnership with Inverness Museum & Art Gallery (High Life Highland),  HI-Arts Crafts are hosting a Christmas Crafternoon on the 6th December 2012  from 3pm until 5.30pm at Inverness Museum and Art Gallery.

There will be lots going on including a snow globe workshop, paper cutting workshop, new work in the craft showcases and of course mulled wine & mince pies!! Fuller details below:

Paper Cutting Workshops

Participants will learn the basic paper cutting techniques focusing on the circle, ‘snow flake’ type cut which is a popular throughout various folk traditions. The workshop will take inspiration from the current Polish Paper Cuts Exhibition. Each paper cut will be mounted and you can take yours away with you.

Family workshops will run on Thursday 6th December from 11‐12.30 and 1– 2.30 and cost £5 at Inverness Museum and Art Gallery to book a place phone 01463 237114.

Make your own snow globe!

Inverness Museum and Art Gallery are also holding a drop in workshop making festive snow globes on the 6th December from 3‐5pm. Go along and join the fun! Each snow globe will be charged at £3.

HI-Arts Crafts – Business Mentoring Project of the Year 2012

HI-Arts Crafts will also be receiving the award for Making Progress, Business Mentoring Project of the Year 2012 from the Scottish Mentoring Network. Do go along and meet them and the makers involved in the programme.
