A bit of background about Jon:

Though familiar to many as the proprietor of the new Cheese House in Cromarty Jon Palmer is in fact more widely known as an international theatre director. In a career spanning over thirty years he has worked with a huge range of actors – from professionals in mainstream theatres to prison inmates, people with learning disabilities, children as young as 5 and older people in care homes. In countries as diverse as Australia, Japan, Eastern Europe, France and the Netherlands Jon has developed a unique approach to acting and theatre directing whose primary aim is to unlock the performance capabilities in all individuals. With a focus on non-verbal communication and visual theatre the emphasis is on re-acting rather than acting – working to a level where the performer becomes less self-conscious and more spontaneously creative.
