Pastels for the Petrified
Saturdays 2 – 3.30pm: 26th January, 2nd, 9th, 16th February 2013
Following the popular Drawing for the Terrified courses last winter, Celia Garbutt will expand your skills with a course specialising in gorgeous pastels. Stained glass 2-day course
To be arranged pending interest – provisionally 2nd and 3rd March 2013
Diyanne Ross will run another 2-day course in stained glass. £165 for 2 days including all materials. You will create a piece of stained glass from scratch, using your own design, cutting and shaping glass and setting it using the copper foil technique. Making a hardback book
March, dates to be confirmed
Following the success of her Introduction to Bookmaking course, Jan Breckenridge will teach a 2-day course on making a hardback book. The course is designed for those with some experience of bookmaking. You will learn how to create, cut and sew multiple signatures and bind them into a hardback cover. More details will be available soon.
Activities coming up soon

Exhibitions Coordinator wanted
An Talla Solais is looking for a new Exhibitions Coordinator. Working one day a week this post will be responsible for the smooth running of the programme of exhibitions, from liaising with artists and volunteers to handling the necessary paperwork. Excellent organisational skills will be essential, as will flexibility and a passion for the visual arts. The closing date is 13th February 2013.
