Understanding Social Enterprise, Inverness, Feb6&7

1 Feb 2013 in Highland

Social enterprise is a new model of business that combines the best of business with clear and purposeful social aims. Our Understanding Social Enterprise (USE) programme will allow you to develop a broad view of the concept of social enterprise, the challenges established enterprises currently face, and what the future holds for this emerging movement.

You will:

• Learn about the values and purposes of social enterprises, their organisational and legal structures, finance and support

• Enjoy a combination of stimulating, interactive materials

• Develop your ability with managing a triple bottom line

• Take part in lively and challenging discussions about social enterprise

• Meet like minded people exploring the options for making their community more sustainable

When, where, and how much?

The Social Enterprise Academy are delighted to once again support Keep Scotland Beautiful, who administer the Climate Challenge Fund, with this opportunity for learning and development as part of the Community Action Support Programme.

There are three fully-funded Understanding Social Enterprise programmes to choose from:

Glasgow | 24 and 25 October 2012

Edinburgh | 30 and 31 January 2013
