JD Fergusson Arts Award open for 2014
7 May 2013 in Dance & Drama
Scottish artists are being invited to apply for the prestigious JD Fergusson Arts Award, which for 2014 provides a significant travel bursary of £4,750 to aid them in furthering their work.
The Award is open to all artists who were born in Scotland or have spent over half their lives here, are not currently in full-time education and have not received any major awards (over £1,000) within the last two years.
Since 1995, the J D Fergusson Arts Award Trust has presented an award annually which alternates between an exhibition grant and a travel bursary. An exhibition of new works by the 2013 Award winner, Debbie Lawson, titled ‘Magic Carpet’ opens at the Fergusson Gallery on Saturday 23rd November.
