The Royal Scottish Academy is pleased to present their first exhibition surveying the work of Sylvia Wishart RSA.

Mackintosh: Building the Future is a symposium being organised by the Charles Rennie Mackintosh Society in partnership with the Mackintosh Heritage Group which is to take place on Friday 3 February 2012 at The Lighthouse in Glasgow.

Highland Print Studio offers a range of classes for anyone interested in learning a new technique and they have announced details of their classes for January – May 2012.

A new exhibition opens in Da Gadderie at Shetland Museum and Archives on Saturday 7th January, until 5th February 2012. The exhibition includes work from two artists, both mainly depicting Shetland, but expressing two very different ways of seeing the islands.

Inchmore Gallery’s next course will be tutored by Dean Melville: “Abstract Painting Workshop”, this is a two day course, which will be held on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th February 2012.

The final of the series of events which have taken place in Inverness as part of Inverness Old Town Art’s Freaky Fridays takes place this Friday 16th December 2011 from 10am – 6pm on the Ground Floor at Old Town Rose Street Car Park in Inverness.
