Blandine Anderson has had a long-time interest in folk lore and traditional culture. This exhibition at the Castle Gallery provides her with the opportunity to explore these ideas in paint and ceramic; the sayings and proverbs inspiring a range of work with sometimes, unexpected interpretations. From her farm in Devon she observes sheep, hares and a myriad of other wildlife and this often forms the basis for her understanding of a proverb.
