I achieved a Diploma in Art & Design with Lewis Castle college at Taigh Chearsabagh North Uist, then went on the complete the 1st year of a Fine Art BA in the same location.
The course was environmentally focused and this was what appealed to me to want to study in the Outer Hebrides. The majority of my work was inspired by the physical landscape, ever changing light and movement and migration of both nature and people. I work mostly in mixed media and enjoy the freshness and vibrancy of creating work outdoors and amongst the elements!
