Dark Debut for Play Pieces this Saturday

A new event starts in Inverness tomorrow lunchtime (Saturday 4 June 2011). A season of short plays, each no more than 1 hour long, is coming to the Ironworks and running until November. Starting at 1.30pm, Play Pieces gives day visitors to Inverness to chance to see some drama and have some lunch all for only £10.

Friends Aim to Make an Impression

Three Skye artists and craftswomen, who forged their friendship organising the Skye and Lochalsh Open Studio Trail, are having an exhibition of new work in Plockton next week. ‘Impressions’ by Laura West, Patricia Shone and Ann Coomber, is being held in the gallery area at Plockton Hall from Tuesday 7 June to Saturday 11 June 2011 and will feature their respective work in bookbinding, ceramics and sculpture.
