TFC is a new club being set up in Thurso to bring cinema back to Caithness. Their first screening is Woody Allen’s Vicky Christina Barcelona. It will be showing at the British Legion Club in Thurso on Saturday April 30th at 7.30pm.

The eagerly awaited programme for the 2011 Perthshire Amber Festival is announced today, 26 April and includes an array of exciting talent.

Vernacular Modernism, an exhibition by the American artist Richard Roth, will open at the Highland Institute for Contemporary Art on 1 May 2011, 2-5pm.

Spotlight Show: Bones & Beasts by Patricia Niemann opens this weekend (Saturday 30th April 2011) at Inverness Museum and Art Gallery. Patricia has been participating in Making Progress 2011 – a HI-Arts mentoring project for mid career makers. Patricia’s exhibition will be on display at IMAG until 28th May 2011.

The play will visit Eden Court Theatre, Inverness (25 –29 October, 2011). His Majesty’s Theatre, Aberdeen (1-5 November, 2011), and Perth Theatre (15-26 November, 2011).

A major exhibition of painter & printmaker Michael Stuart Green’s latest work commences at Tore on Sunday 1st May.

Rock The Fort Festival has programmed a series of gigs as part of the Festival Fringe, taking place throughout Fort William High Street on Sunday 1st May.
